In this episode, Alex talks to Alisa Sydow, professor of entrepreneurship and innovation at ESCP Business School. Alisa is a German researcher, teacher and entrepreneur living in Milan, Italy.
After an experience in the corporate world, she decided to do a PhD at Università Cattolica in Milan around entrepreneurship in Africa. She then also co-founded a startup in the food & beverage space called Nampelka. Today, she teaches Entrepreneurship at ESCP Business School.
Alisa talks about the ethical concerns in working in Big Tobacco, her experience with launching Nampelka, the strength needed to launch your own idea, and other topics.
