Late Night Reds: Drew Stubbs Returns and Joey Votto Homers on his 40th Birthday!

Tim and Ben will discuss the weekend vs the Cardinals, and also celebrate Joey Votto's 40th Birthday discussing his homer today and what getting him and Jonathan India back means for the future of the team. Then one of the best guests of the show Drew Stubbs joins us for a Q&A with our listeners and also to discuss his excitement over the big victory for the Texas Longhorns over the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday.

Yes, we know there are some audio issues. But hey, we tried our best. Take a look or listen as Chad, Nate, Tim, Joe, Ben, and Carlos from the Riverfront - as well as Jeff Carr from Locked On Reds, Jeff Trennepohl of Sports with Strawberry Ice, and more of The Riverfront family recounted their favorite things about the 2023 Reds, projections for the future, and sprinkled in some Bengals chatter for good measure.
HUGE thanks to the SeatGeek crew for sponsoring this episode!

Great weekly show about the Reds

I’ve been listening for several years now and I enjoy knowing that heading into the weekend I’ve got a fresh episode available of the “world’s most dangerous podcast.”

This podcast is a great mix of current Reds news and analysis, along with humor and even some fun like movies and Simpsons references. Chad and Nate are regulars, but so many other guests are great like Jason, Bill, some attorney from the Columbus-area (kidding—Chris), and Doug.

This podcast is a lot of fun, and if you join “the family” via Patreon then you can ask questions and interact in Slack, along with other perks.

Highly recommend!!.

Sale the site Chad

Been listening for about a few years now and used to enjoy it. But anymore it’s nothing but negative whining. Just sale the show Chad, it’s not good anymore.

You guys are pathetic

What happened to “boycott the Reds”? What happened to “Nick Krall is over his head” and “He hasn’t made a trade that I didn’t think he got hoodwinked”? Every single move he made in 2022 made sense at the time, and they look better every day since.

You guys are the epitome of the dumb baseball fan. That 2022 team was not going to win. I loved Winker and Suarez. I was sad to see them go. The Reds are where they are this year BECAUSE of the moves Nick Krall made. His drafts have been fantastic. His trades were tough medicine, but they had to be made.

You should be forced to live up to your promise to never go back to a Reds game. Now you’re cheerleaders. Pathetic.
