Building the Machine #12: The Legacy

Building the Machine #12: The Legacy

A 12-episode series from the gang at Redleg Nation Radio
The off-season is here, so we are happy to present you with our original series, Building the Machine. This winter, we're bringing you the story of the Big Red Machine, Cincinnati’s baseball dynasty that changed the game forever. Day by day, year by year, you’ll see how the Machine was constructed, all the highs and lows, and the legacy that remains.
If you missed the show when it first aired, here's what you can expect: Each week, we’ll be bringing you episodes, each focusing on a single year, from 1969 to 1979. If you didn’t get to experience the Big Red Machine as they were dominating baseball, you’re going to enjoy the chance to experience the story as if you were there, and learn more about the names and events that were so important in shaping the narrative around the Cincinnati Reds.
If you were fortunate enough to watch the Machine live, this will be a fun blast from the past.
Here is Episode 12 of Building the Machine: The Legacy

Keep up the good fight

I am a lifelong Reds fan and I appreciate Chad and the crew giving us an informative podcast from their perspectives as Reds fans. I only regret that I will no longer be listening to them as I will be completely boycotting the Reds. The incompetence and apathy shown by the Castellini crew has finally gotten the best of me. In closing SELL THE F’n TEAM BOB!!

Excellent analysis & good fun

Too many baseball podcasts are either too stat heavy, trying too hard to be funny, or just boring. Redleg Nation Radio is none of those things. Chad’s love and passion for the team is clear from the jump, but he’s by no means a total homer. Criticism of ownership and the team is objective and fair, but he also does a great job of highlighting the positive aspects of the team. Naturally funny. Great listen.
