Christmas For A Dollar

It's the Great Depression, and you can tell, because everything is old except that the clothes, make up, hair, and houses are all brand new and direct from the L.L. Bean catalog. The Kemps are poor and struggling without their mother, and one kid who wears a Forrest Gump style brace and has an obsession with horses that goes beyond David's pre-teen Black Stallion book collection. Nothing really happens, and maybe it's Christmas. David and Joe are still not sure in this movie about ungrateful children who won't eat their Depression hash.
