Migrant care workers are an essential part of many Global North countries’ health systems and have become even more so over the course of the pandemic. Yet, they are disproportionately vulnerable to Covid-19 as well as precarious living and working conditions due to the political and social contexts in which they work. Prof Eckenweiler discusses these issues in light of justice, fairness, and solidarity concerns and extrapolates what we might do about them.
