The memory of US President Joe Biden is so poor that he couldn't recall when his son died or when his term as Vice President ended. That's according to a US special counsel, who interviewed him for an investigation into hoarding secret documents. President Biden of course strongly rejects that, and held a press conference to argue for his cognitive ability - but it didn't exactly help his case. Calum Macdonald and Rosie Wright are joined by former Conservative education secretary Baroness Morgan, Nicky Morgan, and former Labour First Minister of Scotland Lord McConnell, Jack McConnell to discuss just how damning the evening has been for President Biden and his case for a second term in office. Elsewhere, the worst kept secret in politics is out as Labour have officially scaled back on their £28bn green investment pledge - is it the pragmatic thing to do or should we be wary of trusting them again? The Metropolitan Police are leaving vulnerable children at risk of exploitation, according to the policing watchdog, and Rod Stewart has pitched his colours to the Labour mast: but do celebrity endorsements actually help the cause to win an election? All in today's episode.
