STOP it! You're not fast(er) - The Myth of the 40 Yard Dash

NFL football player DK Metcalf announced to the sports world that he would be jumping into a 100m competition with some world class sprinters at the USATF Golden Games in Walnut, California on May 9th.

The talks of DK's speed comparison with Olympic sprinters all began with his chase down tackle on Arizona Cardinal's safety Budda Baker in a Sunday Night Football game in week 7 of the 2020 season on October 26th of 2020.  Later that night USA Track & Field tweeted that he can come and see some real speed at the 2021 US Olympic Trials.

He quickly replied "See you there."

Jade and Anson give their take on the delusion of football fans truly believing that he actually has a shot at making the team, and what to expect when he lines up at the Golden Games, which would be his first 100m competition in the lead into the Olympic Trials.
