My first guest is Heikki Warma, a co-founder / guitarist (1997-2007) of Finnish band Conquest, a guitar teacher and a graduate of GIT (Guitar Institute Of Technology, Hollywood, LA). Heikki lives in Texas these days and dropped by at my home studio in Espoo for a visit. Among other things, on this episode we cover how Conquest / Conquest Plays Metal Gods was formed (w/ Peter James Goodman, Tuomo Lassila, Marco Hietala, Pate Kivinen), their appearance on Jyrki TV show, and what kind of an experience GIT was back in the day with by then still a bit more unknown guest lecturers such as Marty Friedman and Paul Gilbert.
