    Recycled Lies ("Polluted Affairs" S1 EP 12)

    The tide has turned for Alison! Her career is taking off, and she meets a handsome marine biologist, but something smells fishy . . .     Courtney, Laura, and Daphne are back to recap the season's first episode which doesn't wrap up nicely at the end. Yes, there is going to be a continuation. Alison falls head over heels for a stranger but doesn't notice all the red flags (spoiler alert, he's married), which leads the ladies to talk about relationships in their 20s.     Courtney, Laura, and Daphne are back to dissect the episode where Billy is robbed on the 'bad side of town' and makes sweeping generalizations about a whole community, leading to an exploration of race relations. The infamous Michael Mancini, aka Thomas Calabro, is on the pod! Yes, TV's ultimate bad boy, the character viewers loved to hate, joins Courtney, Laura, and Daphne for a trip down memory lane! Thomas reveals the role he really wanted but was "too old" to play, what it was like prepping for love scenes, including his chats with each of his co-stars about kissing preferences, and he apologizes to Laura for a scene where he made a spontaneous acting choice that hurt her feelings. Thomas also explains why he was not part of the Entertainment Weekly reunion shoot in 2012 and why he regrets his decision.     One of the Melrose Place gang lands a role in a horror flick, Michael's good deed backfires, and Billy tricks Alison into going to Palm Springs to meet his parents!     Ok, so maybe not a very drama-filled episode, but Sandy's audition for a horror film triggers memories for Courtney, Laura, and Daphne about their own horror stories, including Daphne's bizarre sorority house audition, the pressure Courtney felt to wear skimpy lingerie for a movie at the age of 17 without being forewarned, and rejection stories!      Plus, the trio laughs over Billy and Alison's bed scene and Michael's near disaster in the kitchen!
