She has coordinated a host of sexual and reproductive education programmes in New York, the Caribbean and Buenos Aires. She holds a Doctorate in Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. Some of her other accolades include Visiting Professor at the University of Nairobi, Director of the NIHR Global Health Research Group on the Prevention and Management of Stillbirth, working in Sub-Saharan Africa. She is also the Associate Editor of the African Journal of Midwifery and Womenโ€™s Health.
