This episode is about the most exciting surf experience yet because Daisy got invited to surf at THE Kelly Slater Surf Ranch @kswaveco by her very kind friend and founder of @yageosurf @Joyyachen at the end of August 2021!
Let us point out a few reasons why the Surf Ranch (SR) experience deserves its own episode.
A) SR creates THE most perfect wave invented by 11 times World Champion @KellySlater
B) Probably once (hopefully twice or more) in a lifetime experience because the cost is mammoth. As of 2021, the SR costs around USD 75,000/ day or USD 40,000/ half day. Even if your pocket is deep, availability is not guarantee as it's pretty much booked every day.
C) The service and staffs are AMAZING. At the SR, the staffs are there to help and assure all the guests go home with big smiles.
D) SR is where the @WSL Freshwater Pro is held each year, meaning you'd be surfing the SAME waves as all the pro surfers who competed in it

On May 8- 9, Taiwan had its every first all girl surf competition, the Goddess Cup, at Waiao, Yilan.

This episode is all about female surfers supporting each other and their newfound takeaway from event!

Daisy and Cindy interviewed three wonderful female surfers from the event at the evening BBQ party. The five of us were sparked with warm mutual feelings throughout the chat where we all agreed that we enjoy supporting and being supported by other female surfers.

Our guest surfers are:

1. Rebecca - The perspective of a second-time competitor.
2. Eliah - The perspective of a surfer and a mom.
3. Nancy - The perspective of a competition judge and competitor.

#SurfingSisterhoodTaiwan was grateful to partake the event as the competition’s hostesses. The event was only made possible thanks to all the female surfers who participated in it, the organizers @alexwanggaga @zuzu_kuo , volunteers, and some 20+ sponsors.

The supported atmosphere is something beautiful that we as female surfers created within ourselves even in a competitive setting.

In this episode, we want to tell you why/ how you should switch to plant-based diet and the many benefits that comes along with, including
1) why plant-based diet helps you excel in surfing and overall health,
2) how to make sure your plant-based meals are healthy by picking the right carbohydrates, and eating whole food,
3) why plant-based diet is better for the ocean and the environment where it also changes your life style in a positive way.
