Gliceria "Aling Eriang" Marella de Villavicencio: The Woman that Helped Make the Philippine Revolution Possible Bayaning Filipina

Hailing from a prominent family in Taal, Batangas, Aling Eriang together with her beloved husband fearlessly aided the revolutionary forces by giving their own wealth, time, effort, and knowledge. She is recognized as a heroine of the Revolution, an ardent sympathizer and supporter of the Filipino struggle for freedom from colonial rule.
