In the first and only episode of this podcast I'll be covering the Battle off Samar, one of the most important battles in  Battle of the Leyte Gulf.

After being left to fend for himself as Admiral Halsey moves north, Rear Admiral Clifton Sprague of Task Unit 77.4.3 (Taffy 3) must hold against the oncoming Japanese forces. Sprague only has so many ships, many of them weak with inexperienced crews. Up against a fleet if Japanese ships that could blow his unit out of the water, things aren't looking so good. Will he be able to hold off the Japanese forces and make it out alive, or will his time come to an end amongst the waters if the Leyte gulf? Find out what happens in this historic battle.
