Welcome to Sustainably Dutch, where we discuss simplified sustainability for practical application and our perspectives and philosophy about sustainability.
With over 20 years of experience in sustainability, Dan spent more than 18 years at Herman Miller and is now working for the City of Holland's residents, helping maintain sustainability leadership through best practices and innovation. His passion for sustainability extends into his personal life. As a volunteer, he has led community projects by helping local schools, organizations, and businesses become sustainable by setting up better processes, sharing knowledge, and implementing best practices for better sustainable practices.

Help People While Helping The Environment
In this episode, we explore how we can benefit other people while helping the environment at the same time. We discuss the 'Gift of Hope for Haiti' and their reuse of fabric that would have gone to the landfill. A church that turned its property into a cross-country track for schools, a nature preserve, and an outdoor preschool.
