The Prosecutors

This podcast is the voice of reason in the US true crime universe. Unlike many other crime podcasts, the podcast hosts of this show are always careful to point out when they talk about known and proven facts, and when they talk about their own speculations and guesses. The absolute best episodes in the series are the ones covering ongoing or finished court cases. With their own knowledge and experience as prosecutors, the hosts brake down the complicated world of American legal practices in a way that any layman can understand. They often apologise for being boring when the get into lecture mode about a particular proceeding or law, when in fact they are excellent educators. Until I stumbled on this podcast, I did not know that the science of law could be so interesting.

A solid true crime pod.

This is the best true crime podcast I have listened to. I enjoy how you make use of your professional knowledge, how you treat victims respectfully, but most of all - how sweet and kind you are to one another. That is wholesome!

Love Brett and Alice, they talk about the cases in a clear and respectful way. They also bring warmth and humor but are always respectful to the victims and their loved ones which makes the listening experience even better. I’m so happy I found this and look forward to every new episode.
