We are human with a plethora of heavy emotions.  A student once told me that his first time in yin was the "longest time I've ever spent with myself.” Sometimes, our mindfulness, meditation, or yoga practices bring up difficult emotions or thoughts that are hard to process.  We must not beat ourselves up when we get frustrated, sad, or angry, but instead find ways to welcome these emotions with kindness.  We must be kind to ourselves to nurture and heal.  Tune in and breathe with me as together we figure it out! A guided body-scan meditation that is practiced while laying down (I swear: that's it).  Think "yogic sleep".  Some of the benefits of yoga nidra: reducing insomnia and anxiety and feeling more rested.  Tune in, let go, and cultivate those chill, restful vibes.
