    What God Hates

    We are very grateful that many Americans woke up to the world around us, which was clearly seen in our historic election last week. The Lord was merciful to us and to our nation. As Christians, we are called to walk in the fear of the Lord, discern good from evil, and hate what God hates. This is reflected in how we live, which includes how we vote. There are very specific behaviors that God hates. As you read and hear them, ask yourself these questions: Do I hate them too? Am I guilty of any of these sins? Do I need to repent of any?     Hell: Torment or Consumption

    It's hard to believe that there are Christians, and even Biblical scholars, who still insist that the fires of hell are neither painful, nor meant for eternal torment. They have decided for themselves that the fires are intended for consumption and destruction. Revelation 21:8 says the unbelieving…and all liars…shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone. The lake of fire is burning, and unbelievers will be cast into it. How could a burning lake of fire not involve pain? Why would this be stated as a threat if there was no ongoing pain and burning? In Matthew 23:33 Jesus said to the Pharisees, "How can you escape the damnation of hell?” He told us there is no escaping damnation. To say that the fires of hell are meant for consumption, and not eternal torment, is to be ignorant of the scriptures.     The Spirit Of Destruction

We also have powerful promises from the Bible that we can pray over our families and our lives for protection and deliverance from harm.     Hell In The Book Of Revelation

    The book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ gives us a detailed account of what to expect in the last days. It is the revelation of Jesus Christ’s second coming, and His wrath being executed upon earth’s inhabitants. It describes the world leader known as the Antichrist, who is possessed by Satan, and makes war against those who become Christian during the seven-year tribulation period. It details the wrath of Jesus Christ (the Lamb), and the wrath of Satan against believers, and against Israel. It also describes the wrath of God poured out in full measure.  Revelation also speaks to us of hell. It tells us that anyone not found written in the Book of Life will be "cast into the lake of fire.” This will be the most terrifying experience for every person that chose to ignore Jesus Christ and thereby reject Him.  Listen as Bill and Annette reveal what the book of Revelation tells us about hell in more detail.     Are You One Of The 32 Million?

    A recent Barna poll shows that only 51% of all faith voters are likely to vote in November. That means 104 million faith voters are unlikely to vote this election—including 32 million regular Christian church attenders. How can a Christian be indifferent to one of the most critical elections of our lifetime? Some believers spiritualize the election and refrain from voting saying, “the gospel is more important than politics.” Guess what? Christians may lose the freedom and privilege we have to preach the gospel depending on which candidate becomes president. In Communist China, they are prohibited from teaching the Bible. In Islamic countries, they will receive the death penalty if caught preaching the gospel. Will you rise up and vote to protect our religious freedoms if nothing else?   Thousands of people have died for us to have the right to vote. We must do our part and vote for the candidate whose track record most aligns with biblical values. If you don’t vote, your silence equals consent. “The Bible says in Proverbs 29:2, ‘when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan."   Listen as Bill and Annette share more on the political positions held by the two presidential candidates.     The Reason For Hell

    Among many other reasons, the people who reject God’s ultimate sacrifice, Jesus Christ, deserve eternal punishment. Jesus suffered a torturous death in order to save us from an eternal hell. God allowed His own Son to endure this gruesome punishment for us all. Those who choose to reject Him don’t value His Son or the sacrifice that was made for us. Instead, people mock Jesus and use His name in vain or as a curse word. There must be a place for the unrepentant sinners and hell is it. God’s nature is holy and righteous. He cannot tolerate sin. He is a God whose anger burns against the wicked and disobedient. We may not understand it but our sin separates us from God.     Rescued From The Pit

    Whenever we face trials and difficulties, the devil will make us feel as though all hope is gone.     What Does The Bible Say About War?

    Going to war should always be a nation’s last resort. If there is any other way, we must absolutely explore all possibilities before entering a battle. However, war sometimes comes to a nation unprovoked, and they are forced to defend their people. If this is the case, and if all solutions are exhausted or ignored by a nation’s enemies, yes the Bible does support war. We should also be grateful for the men and women who have fought in wars, who have given their lives for our freedom, and for those serving today. We must continue to pray for our military and for our leaders. Without our mighty military, we would not be able to enjoy the blessed freedoms we have as a nation.
