Who I Am (Part 4‪)‬ Health on a WIMH: A Whatismyhealth Podcast

    • Hälsa och motion

Documentary filmmaker and host of the Anxious AF Show Sarah Kerlin joins host Mike Trovato for the eighteenth episode of the Health on a WIMH podcast. In the age of self-broadcasting and instant gratification, it can be challenging to express and acknowledge our real human emotions for fear of being rejected. Questioning who we are, what we're doing, and how much what we say, think, or feel really matters can cause us great anxiety. We want to be seen, heard, felt, and understood, to assert our beliefs and show that we are aware and care about life's events, but how much is "too much"?

A follow-up to their dual collaboration, Sarah and Mike discuss judgment of ourselves, of others, and of us by others, and how relationships and the feedback we receive can steer our own actions towards, or away from what we want to do in life. Diving deep into personal stories helps Mike and Sarah identify past wounds and shed the "shoulds," while discovering the importance of managing our feelings, using our space to elevate others, and connecting with things that bring us joy.

Listen to Mike's guest appearance in "Ob(C)esseD AF" from season 3, episode 7 of the Anxious AF podcast: anxiousafshow.com/podcast/episode/…ep-7-obcessed-af
