We conclude the first part of this two-part lesson by looking closely at how the Bible also uses the word “saved” and “salvation” to refer to sanctification, the process of driving out the influence of sin in our lives and growing our loyalty and obedience to God. We need to be aware of the context of passages that talk about sanctification and not confuse it with justification.
