    In this episode Schep is joined by Dead Reckoning Collective co creator/writer/firefighter/army veteran. Tyler Carroll to discuss a myriad of topics, ranging from relationships between the veteran community and civilians to discussing poetry and the stigma surrounding it in “manly men,” communities. This episode focuses a lot on writing and the direction that Tyler and Schep think it's headed and where it is today. Wanna Skip around? The guys start the conversation off by talking about their influences, or in Tylers case the lack thereof, when he was growing up in Texas. It wasn't until he found people like Leo Jenkins that he started to get influences in his own writing. @ 14:00 Tyler starts to talk about how most people have this notion that manly men don't write poetry and he explains how that can't be further from the truth. Especially since he is a co writer in a collection of poetry called “Fact and Memory.” @ Tyler talks a little about Leo and Jenkins and David Rose, both writers affiliated with Dead Reckoning Collective. Tyler also talks about his favorite writer, Kurt Vonnegut, who appealed to Tyler because he was more into math and science as a kid. @ 30:00 Tyler and Schep talk about the Dead Reckoning podcast and how Dead Reckoning finds people, or rather how people find them that they feature or publish and how Keith Dow, co creator works with Tyler to get people involved. Around this point is also when they talk about the importance of a logo and the man behind their own awesome logo, Kevin Bakke. @50:00 Schep and Tyler talk about the relationship between the veteran community and civilians and how it is evolving. @ 56:00 The guys start to wrap up with where Dead Reckoning is headed and where they would like to see it headed.     Today Schep sits down to talk with Danya Barsalona, a professional footballer, football journalist, host and all around football enthusiast. Schep really enjoyed getting off into the weeds with another athlete turned journalist, and you can tell these two had fun talking footy. They dive into the many different football leagues around the world and how they are all intertwined, they also talk about the tough stuff, like how women's soccer doesnt get the attention it deserves and how it was actually banned in England for 50 years. Schep is joined by weird fiction author David Rose to discuss his writing process and books published in his career so far, such as Lucky Joe, No Joy and Mulgara with a deep dive on Amden Bog. Schep and David start the conversation off by talking about H.P Lovecraft, one David's favorite and most influential writers. @ 12:00 The guys discuss how David is creating a world in which all of his works of fiction may or may not live in. He also teases a book he's working on, a “military horror.” @ around 20:00 David explains to Schep his process and who he likes to write and we get a look into the different characters that are in Amden Bog. @ 31:00 David and Schep discuss the effectiveness of plot devices and the tools they use to tackle a project. @ 40:00 The boys start to get deep and talk about their favorite philosophers, for Schep its people like Thomas Aquinas and Soren Kierkegaard and for Davb its people like Friedrich Nietzsche who really inspired him. They also go into politics in and out of writing. @ 1:00:00 Schep and David start to wrap it up but before they do they go deeper into the characters in “Amden Bog,” and how they both interpret these characters, as well as how see parts of themselves in them.
