In this episode, we talk with South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organization’s (SDAHO’s) registered nurse and improvement advisor, Cindy Schuch, and director of quality integration, Kristen Bunt, on SDAHO’s Community Opioid Abuse Response Effort (COARE) program. Schuch and Bunt share the aims and progress in COARE by increasing collaboration, communication and identify applicable resources and gaps in prevention, treatment and recovery within the community.

In this episode we discuss the Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPi) with Iowa Healthcare Collaborative’s director of physician services and leader of TCPi, Ellyn Cottingham. Cottingham explains the TCPi program, how it helps clinicians achieve large-scale healthcare transformation and details their progress over the past four years.
