    In today’s episode, you will be hearing a short conversation with myself and Ben Kurland, co-founder of Billfixers: a business that has saved consumers and other businesses over 4 million dollars on all types of bills. BillFixers has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today, Business week, and on NBC Nightly News

    Ben graduated Tufts in 2015 majoring in Political Science and Leadership Studies, and by senior year was Mock Trial Captain.

    Prior to founding Bill Fixers, Ben was a freelance graphic designer, working with brands such as Hilton Hotels, Berkshire Hathaway, and Caterpillar.

    In our conversation, Ben spoke about the graphic design industry, his experience founding BillFixers, what it was like growing BillFixers, the fallacies of startup culture. Of course, to finish, Ben imparted advice directed towards us young, aspiring entrepreneurs.

    Today's guest is Jeannie Diefenderfer. Jeannie graduated Tufts in 1984 with a degree in Chemical engineering, and has over 28 years of technical and operational experience with 10+ years in executive leadership positions in Verizon Communications. She is also an advisor and consultant to CEOS and large corporations across the country, and she has also started her own consulting firm, CourageNPurpose

    In this episode, Jeannie recounts her time at Tufts and her career ambitions at the times, the lifelong lessons she has learned from her 28 year career, and gives us college kids advice on navigating this COVID-19 work world.
