2 episodes

The goal of my podcast is to share my passion for languages but also to share with you my sadness when I see some of my English students coming back to me demotivated because some people either at work or in their circle have not even tried to listen to them.

In each podcast, I will interview people who are native and non-native English speakers. Through these interviews, what I would like to demonstrate is that accents should not prevent people from communicating together but they should actually have the opposite effect because we can all benefit from a different perspective.

Episode 1 : Introduction (Diversity is about embracing one another's uniqueness)

Episode 1 : Introduction (Diversity is about embracing one another's uniqueness)

In this episode, I explain why I decided to create this series of podcasts. Being from France and teaching both French and English, I wanted to raise awareness about the importance of embracing different accents and of creating a comfortable space where non native speakers can express themselves freely without feeling judged.

I also wanted to show English native speakers how important it is to acknowledge the courage that non native speakers have when trying to communicate in a second language and to show them empathy and encouragement. These are, in my mind, the pillars for communicating and creating human connections.
