Upside down church is taking all things religion, spirituality, church and especially the Christian Church and turning them upside down. Why turn it upside down? Because when we turn the church upside down it will force us to look at it from a different view. How do I suggest turning the church upside down? Well, by allowing non-believers to be the preacher, the pastor, the priest. This is so that all people, the believers and non, might taste, learn and see how even God is at work in something, like the upside down church...Upside down church will also offer a variety of ways to 'see' church and religion differently. The podcast offers church services officiated by non-believers. There will be meditation style podcast for believers or non. The podcast will also offer talks and thoughts to provoke and stimulate the listeners by considering, the holy and unholy "other". This podcast is 100% serious and also 100% satire. Enjoy the heresy... Who leads these shenanigans? Bryant is the leader of this heresy. Bryant was and still is a pastor. With over 10 years of church leadership as a pastor, consultant and innovator in large and small churches. Currently Bryant is a hospital chaplain. Bryant felt it was time to let it all hang out and just go for it.

The Devil Does Advent Day 1 (ep9)
What the hell?
Yah, that's right, the Devil is a guest on my show and offering his views on Advent.
What the hell is advent? Advent means the coming or appearing of something, in this case it is the appearing or revealing of Jesus who came into the world, which is celebrated about in Christmas. Some Christians do a religious ritual called Advent involving the lighting of candles, reading of Bible passages alluding to the coming Messiah. All of this is typically done the 4 Sundays preceding Christmas day in a church service. Christian families also do readings, prayers and sing hymns leading up to Christmas.
Well, I thought it would be great to have the Devil give his thoughts on some of the Bible passages that are usually reflected on in churches.
