#8 - Victoria Clinger - Behavior Intervention, Social Emotional Learning, and Human Connection

This is Meaning with Stephen Vannoy

This episode is a conversation with my friend and roommate, Victoria Clinger. Victoria is studying to be a behavior interventionist and intends to work with children outside of the general education classroom. In this podcast, we discuss her career path and how she came to realize her passions, both for working with kids, and for doing behavior intervention. We talk about the "new rage" of Social Emotional Learning that has recently swept the nation in public schools and how SEL curriculum performs based on the way it is presented. Finally, we also discuss human connection and its negative relationship with the pandemic.

If you enjoyed this podcast, please take a moment to share it with a friend who you know is struggling to find their direction or passion in life. We live in a complex world, with information constantly being thrown at us, but my goal with my information is that it be helpful to someone who feels lost or at a dead end.
