Dr Alethea Beetson - Proud Kabi Kabi and Wiradjuri woman Hold on let me just mention the title for Dr Alethea's doctorate "How insurgence and resurgence functions in the creative development of Indigenous performers" and yes I will be putting those two letters in front of her name every dang time ! Dr. Alethea's resume speaks volumes in the creative arts industry both nationally and internationally, but we want to shine a light on Digi Youth Arts, which she founded in 2013. A space for emerging Indigenous youth artists, that's making big waves in not only Meanjin but nationally and globally. Also please go and checkout this deadly podcast Couzin2Cousin - where Indigenous musicians from Australia and Canada connect and yarn about music, their influences and experiences.  Loki Liddle: Proud Jabirr Jabirr Man  Energetic, passionate, exquisite wordsmith and performer. These are just a few of the words I'd describe Loki, and if you don't believe me go read some of his poetry or listen to his band Selve.
