Today’s guest is Aaron Fernandez, the director of player development for the Division 1 Davidson Wildcats women’s basketball program. There are three things that stand out to me when I heard Coach Fernandez’s coaching journey: 1. He packed a lot of experience into a small amount of time. 2. He benefited greatly from a mentor, coach Nathan Messer. 3. He is not afraid to try new things, which stems from constant self-reflection. The podcast is back for another season! This season I want to focus on youth and high school coaches who are doing amazing things. We’re going to highlight specific details from coaches doing really well and take items that you can implement into your coaching journey.
