emma prefers to share her thoughts with a microphone rather than a physical human being, so thank god she has a podcast. recorded from the comfort of her bed...and some other fun places, emma talks at length about whatever is on her mind every week. anything really does go on this podcast. sometimes philosophy, sometimes a random story from 10 years ago, sometimes advice, sometimes fun interviews, and sometimes nothing at all. you never know what you are going to get, but that’s what keeps it interesting. new episodes every thursday and sunday, video available only on spotify.

the ethics of anti-aging, i’m ranting again
when you're young, birthdays are exciting because it means that you're unlocking new, adult activities. you're unlocking new mature responsibilities. this year, i turned 23 and realized that's over for me. depending on who you are, birthdays after a certain point can become even more exciting or even more daunting. personally, i'm pretty neutral. but i will say that it feels like societally we are afraid of aging. growing up, i saw endless anti-aging commercials - anti-aging facial moisturizers, anti-aging supplements, etc. we've grown up watching people cover up their aging, so i think it makes sense why societally some of us are afraid of it.

my nonexistent birthday party, i'm ranting again
for the past 10 years, i've refused to throw myself a birthday party and this year was no different. i just turned 23 and i made the decision that once again i was not going to throw myself a birthday party. and it's kind of weird because i actually enjoy birthday parties. but my god, do i hate throwing one for myself.

fashion history, a talk with richard thompson ford
[video available on spotify] i love fashion but i wouldn't consider myself a fashion nerd. i'm not super educated on the history of fashion and so that’s why i'm excited to speak to richard thompson ford. he’s a stanford law professor and fashion history expert. richard’s also the author of several books, including “dress codes: how the laws of fashion made history.” he’s dug deep into fashion as a system of power, how the written and unwritten rules of fashion have evolved and influenced what we wear today. so let’s welcome richard thompson ford.
you can find the book "dress codes: how the laws of fashion made history" by richard thompson ford here:

❤️
This is my weekly therapy 😭 thank you Emma, love you
I genuinely love it <3
I love this podcast in every way
I really really really love the podcast
This is one of my favorite podcasts because it’s so real. I think that this is my favorite content from Emma, it really gets me thinking and I can relate SO MUCH. It really be hitting different that it’s a 19 y/o speaking to me (i’m 18). There’s no mask here, there’s no filter it’s really just pure truth and it comes across. I just wish that Emma applies to her own life all the advice she gives, it’s so easy to advice others while being in pain yourself. I just wish the best for her, she is a role model in so many ways. All the love ❤️❤️
