    More about today’s winery
The Valentino Butussi winery is located on Via Forum Julii, an ancient Roman road that connected Cividale del Friuli to Aquileia, in the hilly part between the Rosazzo hill and the Gramogliano hill. Already two thousand years ago this area was considered among the most suitable for Friulian viticulture.
Angelo Butussi, immediately understanding the enormous potential that this fascinating valley called "Prà di Corte" could have, established his company headquarters here, planting those vineyards which in the following years gave rise to some of the most significant wines of production corporate.

Giampaolo Tabarrini | Wine, Food & Travel With Marc Millon

Welcome to episode 1914 of the Italian Wine Podcast, Wine, Food & Travel With Marc Millon. Today, he is interviewing Giampaolo Tabarrini. Today, the conversation is rich with tales of Montefalco - from Trebbiano Spoletino and Sagrantino to the luscious Montefalco Passito, all paired harmoniously with local dishes of the region.

    More about today’s winery:
Tabarrini is one of the best-known and most respected artisan wine producers in Montefalco with its vineyards and wine cellar located in and around Turrita. A great visionary who remains true to himself while striving for change, Giampaolo has, since taking over his parents’ farm in the late ‘90s, transformed it into the extraordinary success story it is today.
