Ps Harry looks at what kind of church Jesus went to, it was one where they shouted against him, it was one where they didn't notice people, it was one where they even tried to kill him and yet Jesus never failed to go to church. The bible tells us in Luke 4:16 that Jesus had a custom of going to church he wasn't a customer.

Jesus had a way of loving people, a way of getting to the core of the issue and instilling a belief that our Heavenly Father loves us.
Jesus showed us to love people through missions, through community and through service.

Ps Narelle shares with us about our physical heart and our spiritual heart. We know that left to our own desires the bible tells us that the heart is deceitful above all things, that's why we need the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit so often in our lives. The alternative is to fear the giants and then go around the mountain again and again than believe the promises that God has for you, it takes faith and and open heart.

Emotional experience in the western world has become the primary motivation of values, actions and even spiritual beliefs hence the backwards view of being led by our feelings instead of being led by the Spirit of the Lord. Jesus showed us a life of faith not religion, a life built on the Spirit not the flesh and we all have opportunities every day to choose which way we are led by.

A writer once said "Christian humility flourishes in the human soul when we are standing in front of a window that looks onto the Himalayas of Christ’s grandeur." We can never look to ourselves to gauge the need to repent, it can only be Jesus.
