"Peeks" & Valleys—Adia Kolb

VOICES Podcast

Adia Kolb is a sophomore at WVU majoring in both sociology and women’s and gender studies. In today’s episode, Adia talks about what it means to be an activist. She gives lots of advice on how she advocates for issues close to her, including rebooting the stereotypes of the Appalachian region. Sometimes activism can sound scary but little things—like retweeting an informational thread and spending that $5 on a charitable donation instead of coffee—can go a long way.
