London has become the world’s first National Park City. The idea behind the label is to protect London’s green spaces, encourage the growth of green areas, waterways and paths and encourage residents and tourists to access them.

[What is National Park City]

A National Park City is difficult to explain, it is a city that has been managed and protected just like you would a National Park, but it's still an urban area. So green spaces are protected and tourism is encouraged to appreciate the nature within the city.
