The Remnant with Jonah Goldberg
In “The Remnant," Jonah Goldberg enlists a “Cannonball Run”-style cast of stars, has-beens, and never-weres to address the most pressing issues of the day. Is America doomed? Has liberalism failed? And will mankind ever invent something better than ‘90s-era “Simpsons?” Mixing political history, pop culture, rank punditry, and shameless book-plugging, Goldberg and guests will have the kinds of conversations we wish they featured on TV. And the nudity will (almost) always be tasteful. Brace your bingo cards.

Clueless and dumb punditry
21/02/2021
In a previous episode you talked about why parties should focus on suburban voters more. I’m generally a fan but my god that was the most clueless and heartless things you’ve ever said. I mean there are literally millions of working class people in the rust belt and other areas who voted for trump and who are clearly hurting and you think we should just abandon them and focus on well off bourgeois folks in the suburbs because they have “better values” or something. This is not only cruel but pretty dumb and clueless as well because A, the gop obviously will never win if it focuses on the suburbs and middle class people only. B, because it ignores why the suburbs are trending more to the dems, a lot of that goes way before trump and the tea party and and a lot of it is because of the changing nature of suburbs not because repubs have become mean spirited and obnoxious. It’s also factually not true that suburban people prefer more responsible and serious politics given the fact that the most insane and conspiratorial part of the resistance during the trump years was mostly made up of rich white suburbanites. That’s all, I was just very mad and disappointed by what you said on that episode as a fan.
