Clear the Air welcomes 18-year-old Sarah Syed, a Top 20 Youth in the World and researcher in the nanotech world. Along with designing bioplastics made of food scraps, Sarah is the Founder of You Are the Change, an organizer of an international youth climate-tech hackathon, and esteemed public speaker. In this interview, Sarah shares how she leveraged her passions for climate action ever since grade 4. She illustrates the avenues she took to build her skills, and provides inspiring messages for youth interested in the tech industry with limited previous knowledge.
