Tape #25: The Love Witch & Audition (feat. Susan) / A Major Update

We're back after being away for almost a whole month! Again, we're so sorry for delaying yet another episode. As you can tell by the title, we have some major life updates that will affect the show moving forward. All will be explained in this episode. We're gathered here again with Susan (who is now pretty much a co-host of the show) to discuss a film that is described as a campy, satirical homage to late 60's technicolor B-movies: The Love Witch. It's a very fitting film for the time we're living in as it dissects heteronormative relationships and gender roles/dynamics and how they affect women. We also catch up on some other movies we saw over this past month such as Audition & Neptune Frost. Plenty of things to discuss in this episode, so don't skip a second! Tape #21: Lost Highway, The Batman & The Northman

We're baaaacckkk! Once again, we sincerely apologize for yet another delayed episode. Armand was too busy goofing off in Austin as he attended the Oblivion Access music fest with some friends. On this week's episode, we take our 3rd journey into the surreal world of David Lynch and discuss his dark, sexual nightmare of a film Lost Highway. We also talk about the new Batman film and Armand briefly reviews the new Robert Eggers movie The Northman. Interestingly enough, these films can kinda all be tied together as Armand points out in this episode. What's the connecting tissue? Toxic masculine bullshit. Tune in to find out more!
