What’s the first step? - What is an investment philosophy? - What taxes will I have when investing? - What’s a Fiduciary? - What is asset allocation...and what does Christopher use? - How do advisors get paid? - How much money will I need to retire comfortably? Christopher says this question can be answered differently by everyone. Ultimately it could be assumed that anyone would want to retire with having all their basic needs covered, enough funds available to cover travel desires, enough funds available to handle almost any home and vehicle repair and the only reason someone would to go back to work is because they want to. Christopher says: 1) Obtain an idea what’s needed for your basic needs during retirement first. 2) Ask, what are your expectations of a retired lifestyle? 3) Determine if some of the "what-ifs" are being addressed? (I.e. long-term care, expected family care giving responsibilities, existing health concerns) Remember: Begin the process and get an idea of what that magic number is. Begin to determine your definition of "living comfortably, see what Christopher is also licensed to sell life insurance in Missouri. In the event a client needs health insurance and benefits, he works closely with colleagues to provide them with the most appropriate benefits. He assists clients with their current retirement savings. He assists with rollovers and investing old 401k from previous employers. Christopher's goal as advisor is to build a team (Attorney, CPA, Advisors) that will work hard for you to address goals or concerns that affect your overall financial plan.
