When Calliope finds her long-lost Uncle Sydney, Ringmaster and part-owner of the Calibus Brothers' Circus, she also finds herself in the mysterious, fantastical, and often dangerous world of Sydney's business partner, the enigmatic Professor Paimon. With his troupe of otherworldly sideshow performers, Paimon assures Calliope that she will never be alone again. Will Calliope find the home and family she's been longing for?
