169_How To Connect With Your College-Bound Daughter (w/ GUEST: Hallie Brew‪)‬ Mother Daughter Connections®

    • Parenting

On today's episode of Mother Daughter Connections®, I'm joined by rising college sophomore, Hallie Brew.

Hallie Brew is a first-year Honors student and Carolina Scholar Majoring in American Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

During High School, she worked with organizations like the NC public school forum and Raleigh Mennonite church discussing social justice issues in her community.

Hallie hopes to study law one day, but for now, is just excited to be a Tar Heel.

When Hallie is back at home in Apex, NC she enjoys playing with her dog Lexi, and crocheting in her free time.

Today, Hallie and I discuss  . . .
What life was like as a teen, during COVID, with a mom therapist and dad engineer. What it took to turn around her relationship with her mom from a rocky one to a smooth(er) one. Life and what it has been like transitioning to her first full year of college.
…and a WHOLE LOT MORE!
