The Body Coach: Extraordinary People

TW: This episode contains discussions about suicide. If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, please consider seeking support. The Samaritans are available 24/7 on 116 123.

After unexpectedly losing her husband, Julia stopped prioritising herself. When lockdown forced her to slow down, she started a journey of healing, all thanks to exercise.

In this episode, Joe Wicks speaks to Julia about navigating a devastating loss with 2 young daughters, how PE with Joe was the start of her getting back on track, and how she stopped seeing exercise as a chore.

Plus, she explains how sport has been a saving grace for her children, the baby steps she took that led to huge change, and how she has started to move on.
