    Handmaids&Harlots - Introduction

In this first episode we'll be discussing our interest in both the popular Hulu adaptations of "The Handmaid's Tale" and "Harlots." While "The Handmaid's Tale," is derived from the Margaret Atwood novel of the same name, "Harlots," is instead derived from the historical research and writing of  Hallie Rubenhold, in her book, "The Covent Garden Ladies: Pimp General Jack and the Extraordinary Story of Harris' List".  We (Kae and Rae) will be starting off by following both shows through their 3rd seasons, before picking up the Historical and Literary sources that informed both shows.  This podcast will be a weekly podcast, its release day will be every Saturday near 8 A.M. (U.S. Central Time). We invite you all to join us in delving deep into the context, story and themes of both shows and their source material.  The music for the intro of this podcast has been provided by:  Memories...Innocence of a Girl — EDM mØÑd If you have come here to leave comments please feel free to leave us feedback. We're happy to hear from you. Suggestions, Critiques and Kudos are all welcome here.
