On a quiet winter night, a middle-aged woman has an epiphany while reading a quote about the inability to express oneself in words. She realizes that no matter what we say or do, consciously or not, it all speaks to who we are on the inside—our true selves that we can never fully capture in words. She reflects on her many attempts through writing to formulate into words the deeper parts of the human experience and her own identity.
