    दोन बोक्यांना म्हणजेच दोन मोठ्या मांजरींना लोण्याचा गोळा सापडला आणि त्या भांडू लागल्या. त्यांनी वाटणीसाठी माकडाला बोलावले. चतुर माकड तुकडे “समान” करायचे नाटक करत , स्वतः खात राहिले. आणि शेवटी मांजरींना काहीच मिळाले नाही. बोध: लोभामुळे भांडलो, तर दुसरे लोक फायदा करून घेतात आणि आपले सर्वच नुकसान होते. Two big cats found a lump of butter and began to quarrel. They asked a monkey to divide it equally. The clever monkey kept eating while “balancing” the pieces. In the end, no butter was left for the cats.     Once, a clever little mouse had a beautiful cap made for himself. He happily roamed around, singing and beating his drum, proudly showing off his cap. The king liked the cap and snatched it away from the mouse.     वृंदावन गावात दरवर्षी चांगला पाऊस यावा म्हणून इंद्रदेवाची पूजा केली जायची. श्रीकृष्णाने गावकऱ्यांना सुचवलं की गोवर्धन पर्वतामुळे गाई गुरांना चारा मिळतो, त्यामुळे यापुढे आपण त्याचीच पूजा करूया. गावकऱ्यांनी गोवर्धन पर्वताच्या पूजेची तयारी केली, त्यामुळे इंद्रदेव रागावले आणि मुसळधार पाऊस पाडायला सुरुवात केली. गावकरी घाबरले आणि श्रीकृष्णाकडे मदतीसाठी गेले. श्रीकृष्णाने गोवर्धन पर्वत आपल्या करंगळीवर उचलला आणि गावकऱ्यांना पावसापासून वाचवलं. शेवटी इंद्रदेवाने माफी मागितली आणि त्या दिवसापासून गोवर्धन पर्वताचीच पूजा होऊ लागली. बोध : खरी भक्ती ही निसर्गाचे महत्व ओळखून त्याचा आदर करण्यात आहे. अहंकाराऐवजी नम्रता आणि दुसऱ्यांचे रक्षण हेच खरे देवत्त्व आहे. In Vrindavan, villagers prayed to Lord Indra every year for good rainfall and crops. One year, Krishna suggested they worship Govardhan Hill instead, as it gave grass and shade to their cattle. The villagers agreed, which angered Indra, who sent heavy rains to punish them. Frightened, the villagers turned to Krishna for help. Krishna lifted the mighty Govardhan Mountain on his little finger and sheltered everyone beneath it. After seven days of rain, Indra realized his mistake, apologized, and the villagers began worshiping Govardhan every year. Moral : True devotion lies in understanding nature’s gifts and respecting what truly sustains life.     खूप खूप वर्षांपूर्वी वेदव्यास ऋषींनी महाभारत लिहायचे ठरवले, पण ते एकट्याने शक्यच नव्हते. त्यांनी गणपतीला विनंती केली, आणि गणपतीने मातीचे लेपन करून दहा दिवस बसून महाभारत लिहून काढले. म्हणूनच गणपतीची मूर्ती मातीची बसवून आपण सगळे दहा दिवस पूजा करतो.दुसरी गोष्ट अशी आहे की अनलासूर नावाचा एक अग्नी म्हणजे आग ओकणारा भयंकर राक्षस होता. तो जिकडे जाई तिकडे सगळे जळून जायचे. देव खूप घाबरले आणि गणपतीला मदत मागितली. गणपतीने त्याला गिळून टाकले, पण त्यांच्या पोटात खूप जळजळ होऊ लागली. देवांनी अनेक उपाय केले, पण काही उपयोग झाला नाही. शेवटी ऋषींनी हिरव्या दुर्वा गणपतीला अर्पण केल्या आणि चमत्कार झाला—गणपतीची जळजळ शांत झाली! तेव्हापासून गणपतीला दुर्वा खूप प्रिय झाल्या. बोध : गणपतीला दुर्वा प्रिय आहेत. खरी भक्ती मनापासून केली की देव प्रसन्न होतो. A long time ago, Sage Vyasa wanted to write the Mahabharata but needed help. Lord Ganesha agreed and, covered with clay, wrote the epic for ten days. That’s why we bring home clay idols of Ganesha and worship him during this festival. There is also a story of a fiery demon named Analasura who burnt everything wherever he went. The frightened gods prayed to Ganesha. Ganesha swallowed the demon, but then his body started burning. Many gods tried to cool him down, but nothing worked. Finally, the sages offered green Durva grass, and magically the burning stopped! From that day, Durva became Ganesha’s favorite offering. Moral: Lord Ganesha loves even the simple Durva grass.     शिव-पार्वतींनी गणेश आणि कार्तिकेय यांच्यात दिव्य फळासाठी स्पर्धा ठेवली. वेगवान कार्तिकेय मोरावर बसून पृथ्वी प्रदक्षिणा करायला निघाला. गणेशाने बुद्धीने पालकांनाच आपला विश्व मानून त्यांची प्रदक्षिणा केली. शिव-पार्वतींनी आनंदाने ते फळ गणेशाला दिले. तात्पर्य : फक्त ताकद आणि वेग नव्हे, तर बुद्धी व श्रद्धाही यश मिळवून देतात. पालकांना विश्व मानणे हेच खरे कर्तव्य व ज्ञान आहे. Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati announced arace between Ganesha and Kartikeya to win a divine mango. Kartikeya, swift and strong, set off on his peacock to circle the world. Ganesha, with wisdom, simply circled his parents, considering them his entire world. Impressed, Shiva and Parvati awarded the mango to Ganesha.  Moral: Wisdom and devotion often succeed where mere strength and speed cannot.     यमुना नदीत कालिया नावाचा विषारी नाग राहत होता. त्याच्या विषामुळे नदीचे पाणी आणि आसपासचे जीवन नष्ट होत होते. लहानग्या श्रीकृष्णाने कालियाशी शौर्याने सामना केला. त्याच्या फण्यावर नृत्य करून त्याला नमवले आणि यमुनेतून दूर पाठवले. तात्पर्य : धैर्य, सद्गुण आणि बुद्धीच्या जोरावर कोणतेही संकट हरवता येते. : वाईटावर नेहमी चांगल्याचा विजय होतो. A poisonous serpent named Kaliya lived in the Yamuna River. His venom poisoned the water and harmed all living beings nearby. Little Krishna bravely fought the mighty serpent. Dancing on his hoods, Krishna defeated Kaliya and drove him away. Moral : With courage, virtue, and wisdom, any challenge can be overcome.
