श्री घुश्मेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग | Shri Ghushmeshwar Jyotirlinga

महादेव के बारह ज्योतिर्लिंग में अंतिम है घुश्मेश्वर मंदिर। यह स्थित है महाराष्ट्र राज्य में, दौलताबाद से १२ मील दूर, वेरुल गाओं के पास।  इसे घुश्मेश्वर, घुसृणेश्वर या घृष्णेश्वर भी कहा जाता है।

यह भारत का सबसे छोटा ज्योतिर्लिंग मंदिर है।

इस मंदिर का उल्लेख शिव पुराण और पद्म पुराण में किया गया है। 13वीं-14वीं शताब्दी में दिल्ली सल्तनत द्वारा इस स्थल को नष्ट कर दिया गया था। मंदिर का पुनर्निर्माण मराठा शासक शिवाजी के दादाजी , वेरूल के मालोजी भोसले ने 16वीं शताब्दी में करवाया था। मुगल साम्राज्य के पतन के बाद 18 वीं शताब्दी ईस्वी में इंदौर की रानी अहिल्याबाई होल्कर द्वारा वर्तमान संरचना का निर्माण किया गया था। 

Ghushmeshwar Temple is the last of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Mahadev. It is located in the state of Maharashtra, 12 miles from Daulatabad, near Verul villages. It is also known as Ghushmeshwar, Ghusrineshwar or Ghrishneshwar. This is the smallest Jyotirlinga temple in India.

This temple is mentioned in Shiva Purana and Padma Purana. The site was destroyed by the Delhi Sultanate in the 13th-14th centuries. The temple was rebuilt in the 16th century by Maloji Bhosale of Verul, the grandfather of the Maratha ruler Shivaji. The present structure was built by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in the 18th century AD after the decline of the Mughal Empire.
