ស្តេចសាឡូម៉ូនដ៏ឈ្លាសវៃ (១ពង្សាវតារក្សត្រ ១-៣; ៦-៨)

គ្រាដែលស្តេចដាវីឌជិតសោយទិវង្គត ទ្រង់បានបង្គាប់ ឱ្យសាឡូម៉ូនជាបុត្រាថា “ចូរមានចិត្តក្លាហានឡើង ចូរ ប្រព្រឹត្ដគ្រប់អ្វីៗទាំងអស់ ដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់តម្រូវឱ្យធ្វើ។ ចូរ រស់នៅតាមរបៀប ដែលព្រះសព្វព្រះហឫទ័យឱ្យបុត្រធ្វើតាម ក្រឹត្យវិន័យ និងបញ្ញត្តិរបស់ទ្រង់ ដើម្បីឱ្យបុត្រនឹងទទួលបាន ភាពជោគជ័យលើគ្រប់កិច្ចការទាំងអស់ដែលបុត្រធ្វើ”។

បន្ទាប់ពីស្តេចដាវីឌសោយទិវង្គត សូឡូម៉ូនបានក្លាយជាស្តេចថ្មីនៃប្រជាជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែល។ យប់មួយ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានបង្ហាញព្រះអង្គក្នុងសុបិន និងមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ “សុំអ្វីមួយដែលអ្នកចង់ឲ្យខ្ញុំផ្តល់។” សូឡូម៉ូនបានសុំប្រាជ្ញា ដើម្បីអាចដឹកនាំប្រជាជាតិបានត្រឹមត្រូវ។ ព្រះបានពេញចិត្តនឹងសំណូមពរនេះ និងបានប្រទានប្រាជ្ញាដល់ទ្រង់ ជាមួយនឹងទ្រព្យសម្បត្តិ និងកិត្តិយសផងដែរ។

សូឡូម៉ូនបានបង្ហាញប្រាជ្ញានេះនៅពេលនារីពីរនាក់ចូលមកស្តេច ដោយអះអាងពីទារករបស់ពួកគេរៀងៗខ្លួន។ ដើម្បីសម្រេចថា ម្តាយពិតជាអ្នកណា ស្តេចបានបញ្ជាឲ្យពុះទារកជាពីរ។ ម្ដាយពិតបានអង្វរសុំឲ្យផ្តល់កូនតូចនោះទៅឲ្យនារីម្នាក់ទៀតចុះ ដើម្បីសង្រ្គោះជីវិតកូនរបស់ខ្លួន។ ដោយសារតែការប្រតិបត្តិប្រាជ្ញានេះ ស្តេចបានសម្រេចថា នារីនោះជាម្តាយពិតប្រាកដ។ ប្រាជ្ញារបស់សូឡូម៉ូនបានល្បីទូទាំងបណ្តាប្រទេសមានអំណាចនានា។

នៅឆ្នាំទីបួននៃការដឹកនាំ ស្តេចសូឡូម៉ូនបានចាប់ផ្តើមសាងសង់ព្រះវិហារនៅទីក្រុងយេរូសាឡឹម។ ទ្រង់បានសហការជាមួយស្តេចហ៊ីរ៉ាមមកពីប្រទេសជិតខាង។ ព្រះវិហារនេះត្រូវបានសាងសង់យ៉ាងស្រស់ស្អាត ដោយមានគំនូរចម្លាក់រូបលម៉ើ ផ្កា និងទេវតា បំពាក់ដោយមាស។

បន្ទាប់ពីប្រាំបីឆ្នាំ ការសាងសង់ព្រះវិហារបានបញ្ចប់។ ហិបនៃសេចក្តីសញ្ញា ត្រូវបានដាក់ក្នុងទីបរិសុទ្ធបំផុត ហើយសិរីល្អរបស់ព្រះបានពេញក្នុងព្រះវិហារ។ ស្តេចសូឡូម៉ូនបានថ្វាយយញ្ញបូជាជាមួយសត្វ រាប់ពាន់ក្បាល ហើយប្រជាជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែលបានអបអរសាទររយៈពេល ១៤ ថ្ងៃ។

ស្តេចសូឡូម៉ូនបានគ្រប់គ្រងអ៊ីស្រាអែលរយៈពេល ៤០ ឆ្នាំ។

Wise King Solomon (1 Kings 1 – 3; 6 – 8)

As King David neared death, he instructed his son Solomon to be strong and obedient to God's commands to ensure success. After David died, Solomon became king. One night, God appeared to Solomon in a dream and told him to ask for anything. Solomon humbly asked for wisdom to govern the people justly. God was pleased and granted him great wisdom, along with riches and honor.

Solomon soon displayed his wisdom when two women came to him with a dispute over a baby. Both claimed to be the child's mother. Solomon proposed to divide the baby, prompting the real mother to offer to give up her child to save his life. Solomon then declared her the true mother.​Solomon’s fame for wisdom spread far and wide.

In his fourth year as king, he began building a magnificent temple for the Lord in Jerusalem. He partnered with King Hiram of Tyre for materials. The temple was built with care and adorned with gold, carvings, and sacred furnishings. After seven years, the Ark of the Covenant was placed in the Most Holy Place, and God's glory filled the temple.

To dedicate the temple, Solomon offered thousands of sacrifices and held a fourteen-day celebration. He ruled Israel wisely for 40 years.
