12. Starting a TTRPG Cafe with Sasa from Pause Menu

TTRPGs tend to be a social endeavour, so having spaces to be social and play games is incredibly important. Whether those spaces are online or in person, it can be difficult to curate a welcoming and successful space that not only survives but thrives. In this episode, we catch up with one of the founders of Pause Menu, a board game and TTRPG cafe in Melbourne. We talk about the process of opening the cafe, surviving COVID, Sasa’s love of the horror genre, and big plans for Pause Menu including an upcoming tourney-style game of The King’s Poisoner. 06. Highlights from Pixel Expo in Perth

Kate headed down to Pixel Expo in Perth to catch up with some TTRPG creators. She had the privilege of being on the podcast stage and interviewed two TTRPG makers - Troy from Hit Dragons and Alyssa from Sphinx Stationery. These two makers dive into what got them into creating accessories for TTRPGs, how they found their niche, accessibility, neurodiversity and more. Plus, Kate hits the convention floor and grabs several Vox Pops.
