Producing The Beatles

A must listen for every Beatles fan. It’s fascinating to hear how each piece comes together to make a whole. Being amazed by the finished product is only one part of the story. How it came together makes each song even more impressive. Thank you Jason for bringing this to every Beatles fan!

I don’t know how Jason does this without ads but I’m not complaining. I just found the podcast last night and have listened to every episode, a few of them twice. Removing the bridge was a terrible decision. Musically it’s beautiful and makes the song richer, and lyrically it complicates the song’s ideas in a way that is typical of Lennon, who, by the way, would have abhorred Beatles myth-making as a motivation in the studio.
