Jessica holds a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Western Seminary. 

She is an LMHCA and LPC intern in private practice working with individuals, teens and couples at Lacamas Counseling in Camas, WA. 

She specializes in complex trauma, PTSD, and narcissistic abuse recovery. She also works with adult ADHD, anxiety and panic attacks, parenting and relationship conflict.   She is a Certified Brainspotting Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and trained in the Gottman Method for couples therapy. Jessica has experience providing trauma-informed counseling for adults in a community health care setting, as well as experience in counseling adolescents, crisis counseling, secondary educational guidance counseling, youth leadership and mentoring at-risk youth. 

She has experience working cross-culturally, including English as a second language. Jessica landed in Portland, OR seven years ago with her husband and two girls after living abroad in South Africa. When not surviving a pandemic, she can be found traveling and singing karaoke. She believes counseling should always involve humor, creativity, and honesty, and will be the first one to make things awkward so you don’t have to.
