    Navigating the Skies: Ryan Pote’s Adventures from Helicopter Pilot to Treasure Hunting

    Ryan is a twelve-year veteran Navy helicopter pilot and mission commander who was part of a joint interagency special operations task force during Operation MARTILLO. He deployed numerous times throughout Central and South America combating drug cartels and criminal organizations. He was medically separated after sustaining injuries during an emergency landing.     Jenna Carlton - Millennial Veteran's Charge for Gen X

    Jenna is a US Navy Veteran and founder of The Millennial Veterans Group. Jenna has amassed a big following on social media with her advocacy for veteran transition and connecting “millennial” veterans (and others) to transition resources. As a veteran herself, Jenna started the “Millennial Veterans Group” on Facebook and started using her voice to help her fellow veterans build a community, and has been an advocate for veteran’s issues for years. She also started a podcast called “Vet Chats”, which ran for over a year and connected veterans all across the world with live shows on IG and eventually recorded episodes distributed on podcast platforms. In this episode we talk military transition and how veterans transition from service, the demands of finding community, and the challenges behind finding yourself once you leave the military.     Green Beret Darrell Utt - Grit to Glory

    Retired Army Green Beret Darrell Utt joins the first livestream of 2025. Darrell is also the author of Grit to Glory: A Green Beret’s Journey from West Virginia to the Streets of Baghdad. Darrel is a decorated Green Beret with a Bronze Star with a V for Valor, and his ODA unit was recognized as the top Special Forces Unit by the Larry Thorne Award. He’s worked as a security analyst, and most recently with the National Medal of Honor Foundation. Raised in Huntington, West Virginia, Utt joined the elite Green Berets and led high-stakes missions in hostile environments worldwide. Known for his tactical acumen and strategic thinking, Utt’s leadership combines humility, discipline, and dedication, inspiring his team and fostering unity. He also mentors aspiring soldiers and Green Berets, sharing his knowledge and instilling values of courage, selfless service, duty, and loyalty. Utt’s awards include five Bronze Star Medals, one with valor for heroism in Baghdad (2006), and the Larry Thorne Award for best operational detachment in the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). He also received the Robert T. Frederick Award for military excellence in 2007. Utt retired from the US Army in January 2017 and now resides with his wife in Denton County, Texas.
