023 Your Difference Is Your Strength with Solène Anglaret

We Are The Unheard

In this episode Solène talks about her challenges she has overcome as a victim of bullying which led her to literally changing who she was at 8yrs old to fit in.  She talks about  making sure she didn’t get good grades so she wouldn’t stand out and why fairness is now one of her top values. We discuss our hypersensitivity and heightened emotionality that we have in common and the importance of realising that being different is a strength!

“It was very, very hard to feel heard and feel accepted because you are different at school. And being reminded of that every single day. And then you are different at home as well, and being reminded of that there, every single day.

And so it's not until later when you realise that that difference is a strength. That difference is the foundation of your unique story. And stories and perspectives, and that by owning that, and by celebrating that, and by being proud of it, this is when you can connect with people that, you know, are on kind of the same similar journeys that kind of gel with you.”
