Paulina Ferrari is a sports enthusiast, athlete, and a leader. She played for the Columbia University Womenβs Tennis Team from 2017 to 2021. Her impact on the team and the community extends beyond the tennis court. She was the co-president of the student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC). In 2019, Paulina, alongside some teammates, launched FAST - Female Athletes Standing Together - , an organization dedicated to supporting, uniting, and empowering female athletes on Columbiaβs campus. Paulina earned the Senior Marshal award for Columbia College Class of 2021 for outstanding students who have a record of contributing to their class, their school and their community.
In this episode, we talk about Paulina's journey growing up and how sports impacted her life at a very young age. We talk about her recruiting process and why she selected Columbia University. We talk about her impact at Columbia University on and off the court, in particular F.A.S.T - Female Athletes Standing Together.
