Then went on to get two masters – Master of Arts in African American Studies at University of Massachusetts at Amherst & Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He currently is the Director of Programs at the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust.
